Armory Art Center is established in a magnificent 1939 Art Deco building, just south of downtown West Palm Beach. It offers a rich local history. It was once the site of a municipal market at the turn of the 20th century. The building served as a National Guard Armory and popular community event space before opening as an art school in 1987. Today, the nonprofit art center features three buildings of artist studios humming with activity, with locals taking part in classes and open workshops.

The Lighthouse ArtCenter is in the charming coastal village of Tequesta. Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery and School of Art was founded in 1964. The center offers a vibrant art school, unique exhibitions, and dynamic unique events. More than 20,000 people per year visit the ArtCenter. The nonprofit art center features a three-building campus with multiple galleries, including its School of Art’s eight studios and an art shop filled with art supplies, handmade jewelry, and pieces by local artists.

The Boca Raton Museum Art School is situated on a beautiful, shaded block of Boca Raton’s first neighborhood Old Floresta. Addison Mizner originally designed Old Floresta in the 1920s. The Boca Raton Museum Art School extends respite from the heat for those seeking to create art. Founded in 1961, the Art School draws more than 5,000 students to ongoing classes in ten studios. The school offers courses in sculpture, ceramics, drawing, photography, jewelry design, textiles, and multimedia art. Additionally, the school offers classes in Ikebana (Japanese art of flower design), as well as fashion, 3D design, glamourous art, and more.
