Tandem Bank has recruited four senior executives to the digital bank as the lender focuses on its green products.
Its energy-efficient offers include lending for greener home improvements, energy performance certificate discount mortgages, as well as low emission motor loans.
The firm’s new hires are director of strategic growth Darvish Heshejin, company secretary and general counsel Marriam Malik, chief people officer Catherine Diamond and director of engineering Adi Kadie.
Heshejin has experience of developing technology-driven propositions in the consumer and small business sectors, most recently as the vice president of growth at Selina Finance, where he was part of the founding management team, and at Kriya, a digital small business lender.
He says: “It’s been a transformational few years for Tandem, and the bank is excellently positioned to expand into new markets and develop its green consumer proposition.”
Tandem Bank chief executive Alex Mollart adds: “Bringing these talented individuals on board is another great step in the development of Tandem.
“Their wealth of expertise and experience is crucial as we work together to continue to develop Tandem further and bring our green mission to life.”
The firm adds that Steve Peacock moves to the newly created role of director of internal controls and customer outcomes, he was formerly chief internal audit officer.
