Finova had promoted Natalie McNamara to head of relationships for its payment and mortgage services division.

The mortgage and savings platform says McNamara will act as “a key point of liaison” between lenders and borrowers looking to grow their businesses.

Adding, that she will be in a position to “assist brokers with a complex case, or advise lenders looking to join Finova’s panel”.

She will continue to work closely with mortgage club manager Sasha Sprake, the platform points out.

The software firm’s range of banking and broker platforms are used by around 60 lenders, 3,000 mortgage brokers and 200 financial institutions.

McNamara steps up from her post as national sales manager, where she worked with such lenders as Generation Home, StrideUp and Hampshire Trust Bank to make their products available to Finova broker members.

She was promoted to her sales manager’s role in April, after first joining the business in May 2022.

Finova chief revenue officer Chris Little says: “Her [Natalie’s] undeniable track record in fostering warm and productive relationships with brokers and lenders speaks for itself.

“The financial services industry has the technological resources at its fingertips to deliver satisfactory outcomes for all partners and clients, but without great communicators to fly the flag for tech, these opportunities can be easily missed.”

Finova’s McNamara adds: “Since joining the Finova team, I have had the privilege of developing strong relationships with both lenders and brokers alike.

“I’m deeply committed to raising awareness around the major challenges facing brokers in the mortgage market, from interest rate volatility and regulatory compliance to last-minute product withdrawals.”
